About the Artist

 

 

Welcome to the website of Alltree Art & Crafts, created by myself Susan Alltree to display my artwork, working primarily with pastels to produce animal portraits.

​

I live in the Northwest of England, and when I discovered pastels as a teenager,  the first thing I drew was a well-known local landmark called ‘Fiddlers Ferry’, a landmark which could be drawn much quicker today, as it is now half the size it was back then.

​

My second attempt with pastels was Bob Marley, many a rock star and actor portrait then followed.

​

Over the years I have been commissioned to do portraits of people, animals and murals.

 

It can be a wonderful experience to see the reactions from people when they receive a drawing of a much-loved family member, and one I hope to be able to continue to experience
